CAPTION TEXT ON PRINT:

Martin Luther King, Jr. visited Toledo just once, Sept. 22, 1967. The civil rights leader spoke passionately about social and economic equality at the Scott High School field house before a crowd of 3,500. It was just 6 months before he would be assassinated in Memphis, TN.
