Digby had a congenital disorder at birth and was born without fibulas in his lower legs. At 10 months of age, he had both feet amputated.

With the aid of prosthetic legs, Digby excelled in a broad range of sports from baseball to football and hockey.

The Otsego High School graduate is now a Paralympic runner who has competed in the World Para Athletics Championships.
